This is how you get 20,000 fourth graders to ski
Every year, all fourth graders in Norrköping/Söderköping are invited to Yxbacken, where they can ride both cross-country and downhill free of charge. During the 6 days, the facility is visited by around 2000 students and for many it is their first time on skis. Since the start in 2010, nearly 20,000 fourth graders have visited. Seeing the joy when they take the first pole of life and make their first turns is an absolutely fantastic experience!
ALLA PÅ SNÖ is an impressive business in many ways. Every morning, for example, loaner equipment is waiting for the 350 children who arrive by bus. Boots and skis are marked with the children's names. All selected according to the child's height, weight and shoe size. It's logistics and teamwork at its best. Around 100 officials work voluntarily during the 6 days.
Norrköping Skidklubb organizes together with the Swedish Ski Federation and has partners in Kimstad GOIF, Realgymnasiet, Friluftsfrämjandet, the Swedish Church and Norrköping municipality.
For the second year in a row, we participated at Henmark Apparel with staff to support the organizers on the hill and in the cross-country. This year we also had the pleasure of delivering hats and embroidered merino sweaters😀. Many thanks for allowing us to be part of the day that aspires to be the best of the year. We will definitely be back.
But it is not only the enthusiasts of "Alla på snow" who choose clothes with a message. More and more companies prioritize activities that include activity and movement, preferably outdoors. And for many activities it can be extra nice to be equipped with the right clothes. We at Henmark are happy to help with that 😀 . We are also available as a sounding board for the best profiling. How should the logo be placed, should it be embroidery, print or perhaps a badge in embroidery or synthetic leather?
A company that really invests and prioritizes work with health and wellness is SRI . They always aim to include physical activity and movement when organizing their team activities.
Last year some of the activities were sailing in the Stockholm archipelago as well as mountain biking and hiking in Tuscany. The staff were equipped with merino shirts and outdoor trousers to be both uniform and properly dressed. SRI chose to profile its clothes with its logo in artificial leather. Very fancy!
